P O S T P O N E D Lake Merritt United Methodist Church and the Food Programs host 7th Annual LIFT concert. The LIFT concert has served as both a benefit to the growing food ministries operated by Lake Merritt United Methodist Church but just as dear to our hearts, it has served as a beautiful community event welcoming folks from Oakland and the Bay Area, hundreds of musicians and concert attendees alike. Every LIFT concert features several musical groups who contribute their time and talents for the cause. Over the past 6 years, the LIFT Concert has helped raise more than $35,000 and 100% of the proceeds raised goes to supply the volunteer-run food programs.
